digiTICKET eCitation Hardware from Saltus Technologies

digiTICKET requires two pieces of hardware: a mobile computer (handheld device or laptop) and a mobile printer. Mobile computers are used to capture data required to create a ticket. These devices include a barcode scanner and/or magnetic stripe readers so that driver license data can be scanned into the software. The mobile printers are used to print tickets that are then given to the violator. The printers are wireless – meaning they communicate with the mobile computers without a cable connection – and use thermal technology (not ink) to print the tickets as they are created.
