digiTICKET is the First Approved eCitation Ticket for State of Illinois

Illinois Conference of Chief Circuit Judges Approved Saltus Technologies’ digiTICKET eCitation Ticket for Bond County Deployment

Tulsa, OK, October 22, 2014 – Saltus Technologies™, provider of the industry-leading digiTICKET® eCitation solution, announced today that the Illinois Conference of Chief Circuit Judges has approved the digiTICKET eCitation format for use by Bond County. It is the first approved eCitation ticket in the State of Illinois that meets the eCitation form requirements set forth by the Administrative Office of the Illinois Courts. Including the review of state eCitation requirements and configuration of the Illinois ticket form, the approval took less than 90 days, attesting to the flexibility of the digiTICKET solution and it’s ability to meet the precise needs of any law enforcement agency.

Submitted as part of an application by Bond County Circuit Clerk Rex Catron, digiTICKET was carefully evaluated for its ability to meet a wide range of requirements such as matching exact layout specifications and the ability to generate dynamic content based on user actions within the digiTICKET software application. Saltus, whose growing customer base currently spans 14 states, demonstrated the system’s capabilities at the Illinois Association of Circuit Clerk’s conference in September.

“For years, I’ve been certain that eCitation provides significant benefits for our citizens, officers and courts,” stated Rex Catron, Bond County Circuit Court Clerk. “The process to get approval for Bond County to use digiTICKET was quick and easy. And now it’s fairly straight forward for other Illinois counties to also gain approval, with only a few forms to fill out. Even our court system vendor was impressed with the expertise and phenomenal customer service provided by the Saltus Technologies personnel.”

Approval by Illinois’ Chief Circuit Judges paves the way for other Illinois law enforcement agencies to implement the digiTICKET system using funds collected under Illinois Public Act 096-1210. The system will enable officers to quickly issue and process tickets while eliminating illegible handwriting, error-prone data entry, and ticket bottlenecks for court administrators. The system also increases officer and citizen safety by reducing the time spent in hazardous roadside situations.

Agencies can purchase digiTICKET, or acquire it using the popular digiTICKET Solution as a Service (dSaaS) pricing option. Service pricing includes software, equipment, maintenance, and support for a low monthly fee, with no upfront costs or long-term contract required.

Saltus will feature digiTICKET at the Illinois Association of County Officials (IACO) Fall Conference, to be held November 23-25, 2014 in Peoria, IL.

digiTICKET currently has more than 3300 end users in 14 U.S. states, generating over 50,000 eCitations monthly. It has proven to be a key contributing factor in decreasing traffic accidents by more than 10 percent while increasing revenue by reducing errors, improving productivity, and eliminating manual processes.
